CONFERENCE VENUES

The Resilience 2008 conference will take place at the University of Stockholm and at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The Resilience Art Exhibition will take place at The Swedish Museum of Natural History (Naturhistoriska riksmuseet).

All venues are within short walking distance and easily reached from the central parts of Stockholm, both by public transportation and by car (see map below or click on the venues in the text above).

Transportation
Arlanda Airport is situated 40 kilometres north of the city center. There are shuttle buses that will take you to the Central Station in Stockholm. The trip takes about 35 minutes and costs SEK 99. There is also a fast train (Arlanda Express) from Arlanda to the Central Station, SEK 220 one way. A taxi from Arlanda to Stockholm costs about SEK 400-500.

80 minutes south of the city centre, another airport is situated, Skavsta Airport. There are shuttles from there as well and they cost SEK 150 to the Central Station.

In the Central Station, you will find the underground trains as well, at T-Centralen. Take the red line going in the direction of 'Mörby Centrum' and get off at the station called 'Universitetet'. The ride takes about 10 minutes from the Central Station.
